Tripadvisor loses credibility
Three Pound Cottage has received 55 guest reviews on Tripadvisor, all 5 star. In addition, Tripadvisor awarded this Dartmoor Holiday Cottage with their certificate of excellence for several years. Despite these accolades, on the 18th November Tripadvisor removed Three Pound Cottage from its accommodation list along with many other holiday cottages.
Although disappointing, their reason for doing so brings Tripadvisor’s credibility and brand values into question. They have decided to no longer list and show reviews for individual independent self catering accommodation.
