Haytor, it’s electrifying!

Great news for those with electric cars wanting to explore Dartmoor. The Dartmoor National Park Authority have installed an open access 7kw rapid charging point in the main car park for Haytor.

The charging point, which is on the Pod Point Network, uses the usual type 2 socket and can accommodate up to 2 electric vehicles at the same time.

According to the Dartmoor National Park Authority the cost to charge an electric vehicle is £0.45 per Kwh

Haytor is Dartmoor’s most iconic tor, and only 5 miles from our Dartmoor Holiday Cottage. It is popular with both locals and tourists alike. Indeed no holiday to Devon would be complete without a walk up Haytor.
